Encounter Christ

The Sacraments

Seven sacred gifts, given by Christ, to walk with us through every season of life.

From the first waters of Baptism to the gentle anointing of our final hours, the sacraments accompany us at every chapter. They are not rituals we perform — they are encounters with the living Lord, who comes to meet us where we are.

A Gentle Introduction

What Are the Sacraments?

The Catholic Church celebrates seven sacraments — Baptism, the Eucharist, Confirmation, Reconciliation, Anointing of the Sick, Marriage and Holy Orders. Each is a sacred sign, instituted by Christ Himself, through which God's grace truly reaches us.

You can think of them as the great doorways of our faith. Three are sacraments of initiation, drawing us into the life of Christ. Two are sacraments of healing, restoring us when we are weary or wounded. And two are sacraments of service, sending us out to love and to give.

Whether you are preparing for one of the sacraments yourself, or seeking them for your child, our parish team will walk gently with you through every step.
