Welcome to Madonna Missionaries
We are so glad you are here. Whether this is your first visit or your return after years away, there is a place for you in our community family.
A Genuine Welcome
You Belong Here
Wherever you are coming from — a new home, a long journey of faith, a return after years away, or the very beginning of your searching — Madonna Missionaries is a place where you will find a genuine welcome, not just polite courtesy. We believe that every person who walks through our doors has been led here by something more than coincidence, and we receive you with that conviction.
This page will help you find your feet. There are no rules, no expectations, and no hurry. Take the steps at your own pace, and know that the community community is here to support you.
Your First Steps
Getting Settled
Five simple steps to help you find your place in the community family.
Come to Mass
The simplest first step is to come along to any Mass. Sunday Masses are at 9:00 am and 11:00 am, with a Saturday Vigil at 6:00 pm. You don't need to do or say anything — just come. If you are not Catholic, you are warmly welcome to attend and to receive a blessing (come to the front with your arms crossed over your chest). The collection is never obligatory for newcomers.
Meet Father
Father is available after every Sunday Mass to meet newcomers personally. There is no appointment needed — simply introduce yourself at the church door or in the porch. If you would prefer a more private conversation, the community office can arrange a time that suits you. Father is delighted to welcome you and to answer any questions you may have.
Register as a Parishioner
Registering formally with the community allows us to support you in your faith journey — through sacramental preparation, pastoral visits when needed, and the full life of the community. Registration takes around ten minutes and can be completed online or at the community office. There is no fee and no commitment beyond your intention to be part of our community.
Find a Ministry
The parish comes alive through the gifts of its members. Whether you can spare one hour a month or several hours a week, there is a ministry that needs what you have to offer — from reading at Mass to helping with the flower rota, from visiting the housebound to joining the choir. We will help you find the right fit.
Connect with the Community
Join one of our community groups — Bible Study, Rosary, Mothers' Prayers, the Men's Group, or a host of others. Attend a parish social. Come on pilgrimage. The relationships you form in this parish family can become some of the most meaningful of your life.

Questions We Often Hear
Do I need to be Catholic to attend Mass?
No — anyone is welcome to attend Mass at Madonna Missionaries. If you are not Catholic, you are welcome to receive a blessing when others receive Communion (come forward with your arms crossed over your chest). We are a genuinely welcoming community.
I'm returning to the Church after many years away. Will I be welcomed?
Absolutely and wholeheartedly, yes. Whatever has kept you away — and there are as many reasons as there are people — we ask no questions and offer no judgement. You are simply welcome back. If you would like to make a confession before receiving Communion again, Father is always available and will be glad to receive you.
My children haven't been baptised. Can they still come?
Yes — your whole family is welcome. If you would like to explore baptism for your children (or for yourself), please speak with Father or the community office. Our catechists will be delighted to guide you through the process with patience and care.
I'm not sure what I believe. Is there still a place for me here?
Absolutely. Doubt and searching are part of the spiritual life, not obstacles to it. Many of our most active parishioners started out as questioners. We run an enquirers' group for anyone who wants to explore the Catholic faith without commitment. Please get in touch.
How do I register if I have previously been registered at another parish?
Simply register with us online or at the community office. There is no formal transfer process — your registration here takes effect immediately. If you would like your previous parish to know you have moved, we can facilitate that correspondence on your behalf.
Is there a specific parish I should belong to based on my address?
Catholic practice encourages people to register with their local territorial parish, but in practice many people choose their parish for pastoral reasons. You are very welcome to register with Madonna Missionaries regardless of where you live. If you are unsure which is your territorial parish, we can advise.
Ready to Make It Official?
